Deep Lake Aeration Systems

Our deep lake systems are recommended when the majority of the lake is over 8 feet deep.

These Great Lakes shallow lake systems feature:

• Sweetwater oil less rotary vane compressors that include a muffler, inlet check valve, control valves, 0-30 psi liquid-filled pressure gauge and pressure relief valve. Compressors come factory wired for either 115V (standard) or 230V single-phase. Three-phase models, not wired, are also available.
• 6 diffuser manifold(s)
• Locking steel cabinet for the compressor and includes built-in cooling fan(s), lock(s) and soundproofing that keeps the noise level below 55 dB (normal conversation) at 10' and virtually inaudible at 50'. Cabinets come mounted on a lightweight equipment pad that is suitable for private installations.

To complete the system, tubing, clamps and couplings will be required. We recommend polyethylene unweighted tubing on land and weighted tubing underwater. Choose either a 100' or 400' roll of unweighted tubing on land. If used in the lake, the unweighted tubing requires tie wraps and three-hole bricks (purchased locally) placed every 5-8' to weigh it down. Self-weighted tubing requires no weights, so it takes much less time to install. Both types of tubing can be connected using couplings and clamps (use 1/2" clamps for unweighted tubing and 3/4" clamps for weighted tubing). One coupling and two clamps per connection will be needed.

Maintenance kits also available and include four sacrificial carbon vanes, gasket and two inlet filter elements.

Due to the weight, all aeration systems ship via Motor Freight.
