Pond Keeper Premium Activated Carbon

Pond Keeper Premium Activated Carbon is a blend of two forms of specially processed bituminous carbon with millions of macro & micro pore structures in one package. This carbon has a superior ability to adsorb tannins (tea colored water), dyes , toxic compounds produced by algae and fish waste, dissolved organics and odor and even inorganic toxic chemicals. Pond Keeper Premium Activated Carbon is fast acting & will not effect pond pH.

Due to the extremely large surface area, this product also provides the ideal substrate for growing and colonizing beneficial pond bacteria.

APPLICATION
1 lb (2 cups) of premium activated carbon will treat approximately 200 gallons of pond water.
Place carbon in a mesh bag and put in the media compartment of your filter or below a waterfall. For the carbon to be effective water needs to consistently pass through it.
For best results, replace every 3-4 weeks.

NOTE: Rinse carbon off prior to adding to the pond to remove any fine, loose particles.
